Bring experiential learning into your practice
It's one thing to participate in a powerful learning experience like the ACT Experience. It's another to create those opportunities for your own clients or training participants. Doing so requires preparation, structure, clear clinical goals, guided reflection, and practical tools.
Heroes Quest Academy is developing facilitator resources to help qualified clinicians explore the Heroes Quest approach in their own settings.
Resources in development
- Facilitator guidance: preparing a group, creating a supportive environment, framing ACT processes, and guiding reflection.
- Implementation tools: session structure, planning and documentation considerations, and reusable slides.
- Participant materials: printed workbooks, character sheets, dice, maps, and refill options.
- Future adventures: additional scenarios and reflections built around experiential learning goals.
These resources are in development and are not yet available for purchase or implementation. Participating in The ACT Experience offers a firsthand introduction to the approach; it does not by itself establish clinical competence or replace the judgment, preparation, and safeguards required for therapeutic groups.
Start by experiencing the approach
The ACT Experience is designed for clinicians who want to encounter psychological flexibility through guided adventure and reflection. You don't have to commit to facilitating a therapeutic role-playing group to participate.
